Rishi Kadakia, MD
Dr. Rishi Kadakia is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatric Anesthesiology and Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. He specializes in the care of children with congenital heart disease and completed fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and pediatric cardiac anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
An active educator, Dr. Kadakia develops digital learning platforms and AI-enabled tools that support clinician training. He was recently selected for UCSF’s AI Catalyst Program, a faculty-development initiative focused on the responsible integration of AI in academic medicine.
His current work explores how AI can support precision learning through individualized educational content, enhanced understanding of complex physiology, and new approaches to learner assessment and engagement. He is also deeply committed to mentorship and fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
